The Gulf Coast area has produced alot of great talented people and Link Davis Jr. is one of them.
A Port Arthur born boy,Link the son of the great and talented Link Davis sr. who wrote and recorded "Big Mamou" Link has made many albums with other well known bands,but this is his first solo cajun music album.

Link not only plays accordian!! But, he also plays fiddle,sax,piano,and sings in his own unique style! though only half cajun,it was in his blood to create his own style of cajun music. He has choosen just a few of the great,traditional cajun classics,and preform them straight from the heart. Link Davis jr. has also put together a collection of his favoite cajun classics that will shake Louisiana and all points West. Link naturally grew up aroung great music and great musicians!! Other kids got toys---Link---he got a sax!! Link in his music career had played with many of the greats,inclueding Asleep at the wheel(with whom he played with for 5 years), Emmylou Harris,Doug Sahm,Tracy Nelson,Dr.Jon,C.C.R and others!
being his first solo release "Cajunville",Which continues to sell in the U.S and Europe.Link Jr. is also the recipient of a Grammy and a Country Music Association award for his work with Asleep At The Wheel!
While on tour in Norway in 1985,Link Travelled with Bygg Band,and at the end of the two month tour they cut eight songs in Oslo. Two different accordians were used to achive in totally new sound in Cajun music.Also inclueding are two outstanding cuts featuring Link on sax. "Tuff" and "Honky Tonk",which were recorded in Church Point,Louisiana in 1989.The rest of the album spans the whole gamut of his recording career.
Still going after all these years Link hopes to filterate all those good sounds and keep them alive with his awsome sounding style!!!!!
